AI Use & Generated Imagery Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
ListFly uses artificial intelligence to enhance property listings. This policy explains what the AI does, its limits, and how to use the output without misleading buyers and tenants.
1. Where we use AI
Video: drone-style camera scenes generated from your photos or videos. Photos: light and colour enhancement, sky replacement, time of day (golden hour, twilight, night), virtual staging, virtual renovation, object removal and other edits. Text: storyboard, captions, description and listing messages.
2. AI can be wrong
We instruct the models not to change architecture or finishes, but they may invent details: doors, hallways, views, furniture, vegetation, sides of the house not shown in the photo, or features that don’t exist. Copy may also mention items not shown in the photos. Review everything before publishing.
3. Transparency labels
Exported videos automatically get a label when a scene was altered: "AI-recreated scene", "Virtually staged", "Renovation preview" or "AI-edited photo". Edits that only correct the photograph (light, colour, straight walls, removing loose clutter) are not labelled, as is market practice.
4. Your obligations when advertising
When publishing altered photos or videos on portals, social media or platforms such as Airbnb: (a) state that the image is illustrative, virtually staged or a preview; (b) keep the original photo available on request; (c) never use AI to hide defects, structural problems or nearby construction, or to show views, areas or rooms that don’t exist.
In Brazil, real-estate advertising must comply with the Consumer Protection Code (arts. 6-III, 31 and 37, which prohibit misleading advertising) and COFECI/CRECI rules. Elsewhere, portal and association rules (such as many MLSs in the US) require labelling virtually staged images. You are responsible for following the rules of your market.
5. Location and maps
The location opening uses the real satellite image of the address you enter (Mapbox), not an AI-imagined neighbourhood. Even so, the transition from satellite view to facade is AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies.
6. People and third-party content
Do not upload photos showing people, children, documents or licence plates. AI providers may block such images. Use only content you have the right to use.
7. Personalisation ("My style")
The AI adapts to each customer: the preferences you set and what you keep, edit, redo and rate become guidance for your account’s next storyboards, copy and videos. This is not a model trained only for you; it is a style profile sent along with requests to the AI. You can view, correct or erase this profile at any time on the "My style" page.
8. Data and training
We send AI providers only the content needed for each feature. How providers use that data follows each provider’s API policies; see the Privacy Policy for the list of providers.
